for family and friends...
The computer turned out to be a marvelous tool for composing my most personal thoughts. I used it to create Words of Love… with Images on the occasion of our eighth wedding anniversary and to convey just that to Judy, combining pictures and prose to recapture some of our more precious moments. That’s what puts the ‘personal’ in personal computing and is the main reason why it’s extremely difficult to create and produce a book or booklet for someone else.
When Mike and Nina asked me to put together a book about their daughter Sonya’s first 18 years as an ‘off-to-college’ gift, it was only because I had known her since she was a baby that I could do it, with their help of course. The stories closer to home like Moms on Macs, my mother’s take on her first computer experiences, and Two Sisters turn out to be somewhat easier to create. I believe that my final tribute to my Mom, Memoirs of a Teacher, uniquely captured her wonderful spirit.

Moments in time...
Our memories define these moments. This photo asks... ‘Who has captured who?’
